Deadstock Blue We have recreated all the techniques that have been accumulated over the past 25 years to create the inn's unique appearance using denim fabric that has stood the test of time.
From a "deadstock" perspective, this denim was analyzed and newly developed, down to the thread count and texture. To evoke the image of decades of unused storage and "oxidization," all denim has been aged over time. The red label has faded to a faded pink. The tongue has yellowed slightly, retaining a dull luster that highlights its weight. The copper-plated iron rivets are each perforated with a random pattern, and the leather label is made from "shibu-tanned" deerskin, a material rarely used in apparel, to recreate the texture and distortion of the original. The stitching is a faithful reproduction of the 1940s "war model," which was made immediately after the war. The "LOT1000XX" is a model that surpasses the "1001XX" in both ruggedness and delicacy. This top-of-the-line model will be released as a masterpiece of the "Dead Blue Stock" label.
