In the 1960s, when jeans went from being a cowboy uniform to becoming more commonplace, denim jackets, which had previously had a boxy silhouette, began to demand a more form-fitting fit while still allowing for a comfortable range of motion. The so-called "third model" was the prime example of this. The high, rolled sleeve seam, which is the most difficult part of the third model for seamstresses, is also a distinctive feature of this model. The sleeves of vintage third models later became interlocked, highlighting the value of the rolled seam.
Enjoy the unique creases that can only be achieved with rolled stitching after wearing and washing. The fabric is a reproduction of the much talked about "Banner Denim" denim, made with brown cotton blend denim specifications, and is mother cotton woven without dyeing the warp threads with indigo.
