Based on the vintage jersey knit socks worn by American students up until the 1960s, which retain a moderate amount of volume, these socks are manufactured on a traditional Japanese low-gauge double cylinder knitting machine. These socks are made with a "Zokki knit" method that uses no backing yarn, and only use rubber at the top and instep. They are knitted together with a fluffy, thick cotton slub, and use more yarn than regular socks, resulting in a rich, comfortable fit that pairs well with heavy-duty boots. These original socks are in line with Warehouse's theme of "recreating vintage styles."
