This hat is modeled after a real vintage full-brim hat that has been restyled into a baseball cap. The front has a stencil of "POW." POW stands for "PRISONER OF WAR." It's a baseball cap style hat, repurposed from the "Daisy May Hat," a hat worn by the Army in the early days of World War II with a brim that extends all the way around. Older U.S. military uniforms were often repurposed as prisoner of war clothing, with changes to the color and shape.
